Field Application in Gündoğdu Village

On 10.05.2024, Burdur Provincial Health Director Dr. Murat ERK, Burdur Public Health President Dr. Ayşen TİL, Bucak District Health Directorate and our Vocational School Midwifery Department organized a field application in Gündoğdu village with District Health Director Dr. Yasemin ERK, Health Officer Tuncay AYGÜL, 3 doctors, 1 radiology technician, 6 midwives, Midwifery department head Assoc. Prof. Sabriye UÇAN YAMAÇ and Assoc. Prof. Mine GÖKDUMAN KELEŞ and 105 Midwifery department students. As part of the field application, house-to-house visits were made, the villagers' blood pressure, sugar, pulse measurements and urine tests were performed, and information and screening were provided on breast cancer, colorectal cancer, cervical cancer, reproductive health, healthy nutrition, obesity and hypertension. In addition, visits were made to Gündoğdu Primary School and Gündoğdu Secondary School,
Students were given healthy eating education and exercise for a healthy life and then a walk was made in the village.
