With the collaboration of Çavdır Vocational School, Çavdır District Governorship, and Çavdır Municipality, draft risk analysis evaluations of public institutions and organizations operating in the district are being created by program students under the supervision of Occupational Health and Safety department faculty members. During field visits conducted under the supervision of faculty members with Occupational Health and Safety expertise to public institution workplaces subject to the Occupational Health and Safety Law in the district, program students prepare draft risk analyses and make a significant contribution to the provision of safe workplaces.

Within the framework of the collaboration, during visits to different public institution workplaces each week, potential hazards or risks that could cause work accidents and occupational diseases are classified and evaluated, and draft reports are prepared. The draft risk analysis evaluation reports are presented to the relevant department head following the visits. With this regularly conducted initiative, both students gain field experience and a significant contribution is made to the provision of occupational health and safety in the district.

“Youth in the Field for Safe Workplaces” speaking about the social contribution activity, Çavdır Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Öçal referred to the university's mission of “From Universal Knowledge to Social Contribution”; he stated that the culture of health and safety should be placed at the center of working life against work accidents and occupational diseases, which are among the most important social issues of today's world, and he noted that this ongoing initiative is an exemplary social contribution activity that makes a significant contribution to social welfare by providing both field experience for program students and support in creating healthy and safe workplaces. The faculty member responsible for the implementation, Sinem Ulaş, stated that students are very pleased with the social contribution activity implemented and expressed that the practice will have a beneficial impact on establishing a culture of occupational health and safety in society.
