'From the Language of Palestinian Youth: Gaza' Program from MAKÜ

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Social Contribution Coordination hosted a meaningful event on August 29, 2025. The program titled “Gaza Through the Eyes of Palestinian Youth” was organized with the participation of Palestinian students studying at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The program attracted significant interest from various foundations and non-governmental organizations, as well as political party representatives, MAKÜ academics, and many citizens.

In the event where two Palestinian students attending summer school at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine were speakers, and Dr. Lecturer Member Reyda Şıklaroğlu was the presenter; the young people, whose families serve as healthcare personnel in Gaza, described the humanitarian tragedy occurring in the region and the current situation of people subjected to oppression.

At the end of the program, participants made a strong call together for an end to the oppression in Gaza.
