Dental screening event within the scope of "Village University" from MAKÜ

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) added a new one to its social contribution efforts by conducting a dental screening as part of the "Village University" project in Düğer and Yarışlı villages within the scope of healthy teeth activities.

During the event, which was attended by faculty members and students of the MAKÜ Faculty of Dentistry, oral and dental health screenings were conducted for the villagers. During the screening, citizens were informed about oral and dental care, tooth brushing habits, and the use of dentures.

Yarışlı Primary School students also participated in the event. The face painting activity organized for the young students helped them overcome their fear of dentists, making the screening enjoyable.

During the event held at the Düğer and Yarışlı village coffeehouses, Dr. Lecturer Süleyman Faki from the MAKÜ Faculty of Dentistry provided information to the participants about the importance of oral health. Faculty students conducted routine screenings and referred individuals with identified dental problems to the faculty.

The villagers expressed their satisfaction with this event, which was both informative and socially engaging.
