Meaningful Event from Tefenni MYO for December 3rd International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Tefenni Vocational School of Management and Organization Department Sports Management Program organized a meaningful event to raise awareness on the occasion of December 3rd, International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event, organized by program students under the leadership of faculty members, was held at the indoor sports hall affiliated with the Tefenni District Directorate of Youth and Sports.

As part of the event, sports competitions were organized in two important branches played by individuals with disabilities, such as 'Sitting Volleyball' and 'Goalball'. This event aimed to support the participation of individuals with disabilities in social life through sports and to raise awareness in the public. The athletes' struggle was followed with great interest by the spectators.
