Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Medicine continues to strengthen its social contribution in the field of health through informative activities aimed at the community, alongside its educational and academic endeavors.

 

In this context, the filming of the health program prepared by the Faculty of Medicine is being carried out at the MAKÜ Studios by the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Corporate Communication Application and Research Center (KİMER). After the filming and production processes, the program meets the audience on Channel 15.

 

In the program, which will address a different health topic each week, expert physicians from the Faculty of Medicine will be guests. Common health issues in society, methods of disease prevention, the importance of early diagnosis, healthy living, nutrition, and current health topics will be evaluated in the program.

 

Scientific Knowledge Meets Society

The program aims to deliver scientific and reliable information in the field of health to different segments of society in an understandable language. Through the program, where expert physicians will share their knowledge and experiences with the audience, it is aimed to help citizens access accurate information about health and to contribute to the development of health literacy.

 

The program, which brings together the academic accumulation of MAKÜ Faculty of Medicine with society, also stands out as a reflection of the university's mission of education, research, and community service.

 

Every Sunday at 20:00 on Channel 15

The health program filmed at the MAKÜ Studios under KİMER will be broadcast every Sunday at 20:00 on Channel 15, presented by Instructor Bilal Karasakal.

 

Starting its educational activities by accepting its first students in the 2026-2027 academic year, MAKÜ Faculty of Medicine aims to continue its social contribution in the field of health through projects that directly engage with the community, alongside its academic studies.
