MAKÜ's four student projects in the field of environment and climate received support from ÜNİDES

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) student communities' four projects were accepted under the Youth and Sports Ministry University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES).
In connection with the COP31 process, 304 out of 855 applications made across Turkey for the “Environment and Climate” Special Call Period were deemed worthy of support. One project from the student communities applying from MAKÜ was included in the national category, while three projects were included in the local category for support.
In the national category “Green Social Incubator Against Micro Threats”
The project titled “Green Social Incubator Against Micro Threats” by the MAKÜ Living Beings and Science Community has qualified for support in the national category.
Three different titles in the local category
The “Empowerment Project for Elderly Individuals Against Climate Change” by the Gerontology Community was among the works accepted in the local category.
The project titled “Green Transformation on the Road to COP31: Zero Waste, Food and Climate Panel” by the Food Engineering Research and Development Community was also included in the local category for support.
The project titled “Little Climate Heroes: Play, Discover, Protect” by the Professional Development (MESGEL) Community became another local project of the university that qualified for support.
